Ashburn Station (formerly Farmwell)

Ashburn (originally known as Farmwell) had three stations. The new Farmwell Station was built in 1883,
replacing the original station which had burned several months before. The second photo is of the third station,
the building which existed when the railroad was abandoned in 1968. It was demolished by the power company which saw the
wooden stations as a threat to their overhead transmission lines if on fire.
